Tech Insight

Q: Why run a 7/8" shank rod end with a 5/8" bolt?
This setup increases overall rod end strength and load capacity while allowing you to retain existing brackets designed for 5/8" hardware—no need to rework tabs or mounts.

Q: What are the benefits of using high angle heim joint spacers?
High angle spacers improve articulation and allow the suspension to cycle smoothly without binding, especially important in long-travel four-link setups.

Q: Is this kit suitable for high-performance suspension systems?
Yes, this kit is designed for demanding applications like rock crawlers and race rigs using 7075 aluminum links or heavy-wall steel links, where strength and reliability are critical.

Q: What does the complete kit include?
The kit includes 7/8"-14 chromoly rod ends (left and right-hand thread), matching jam nuts, and 5/8" stainless high angle spacers—everything needed to properly set up a four-link system.
