The Art Carr - Winters SideWinder Lockout Shifter is designed specifically for the Allison LCT 1000 / 2000 / 2400 series automatic transmissions. This lockout configuration features a mechanical reverse lockout system that makes it physically impossible to accidentally shift into reverse from any forward gear.

This shifter comes fully assembled in a standard Winters plastic console and typically includes a 5-foot (3 travel) double-clip push-pull cable and mounting hardware. Shifters are also available without a cable if a custom length is required.

The lockout version includes a neutral safety switch, ensuring the vehicle can only be started when the shifter is in Park — a critical safety feature for high-torque diesel builds.
