Wide Open Design was founded with a simple goal: build better off-road vehicles and help other builders do the same.
For more than 20 years, we've been designing, fabricating, racing, wheeling, breaking, improving, and rebuilding off-road vehicles right here in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. What started as building custom tube chassis and trail rigs has grown into one of the largest destinations for serious off-road parts, axle components, suspension systems, chassis parts, and complete vehicle builds.
We're not a marketing company that happens to sell off-road parts.
We're builders.
Every product we design, every component we stock, and every recommendation we make comes from real-world experience building and driving vehicles in some of the harshest conditions possible.
Built by Builders
Over the years we've built everything from trail rigs and custom Jeeps to Ultra4 race cars, rock bouncers, tube chassis buggies, and complete turnkey vehicles. Those projects taught us what works, what breaks, and what actually matters when you're miles from the trailer.
That experience drives everything we do today.
