Four Link Kits, Rod Ends & Parts

Wide Open Design offers chromoly rod ends, heat-treated rod ends, rebuildable joints, and suspension hardware in multiple shank sizes, bore sizes, and left- and right-hand thread configurations. Whether you're building a 3-link, 4-link, radius arm, trailing arm, or custom suspension system, matching the rod end to the vehicle weight, link size, suspension load, and intended use helps create a suspension that moves freely without sacrificing strength or control.

Left-Hand vs Right-Hand Thread Rod Ends

Using a left-hand thread rod end on one end of a suspension link and a right-hand thread rod end on the other allows link length to be adjusted without removing the link from the vehicle. Rotating the link tube lengthens or shortens the assembly, making it easier to set wheelbase, pinion angle, axle position, and suspension alignment.
