Tech Insight

Bump stop cans must be precise to ensure proper bump engagement and cycling. Laser-cut DOM tubing provides a consistent internal diameter, ensuring the bump stop slides smoothly and seats firmly. Weld-on cans also allow complete control over bump placement, angle, and height, which is critical for suspension tuning and chassis clearance.

These are the same bump cans used in Wide Open Design’s full turn-key chassis builds. The short bump stop can may be needed when clearance is tight.
