The Holley Sniper EFI 92mm LS Throttle Body is a cable-operated billet aluminum throttle body designed to increase airflow on GM Gen III/IV LS engines. Manufactured by Holley Sniper EFI, the 92mm bore provides additional airflow for performance LS builds, while the progressive throttle pulley improves low-speed throttle control and the dual return spring provides a positive, predictable pedal feel.

The black anodized billet aluminum body uses a 4-bolt mounting pattern and includes provisions for GM-style IAC and TPS sensors. It's a strong choice for LS swaps, off-road buggies, rock crawlers, hot rods, muscle cars, and other cable-operated LS applications using a compatible intake manifold.

Includes:

  • (1) Holley Sniper EFI 92mm Throttle Body
  • Progressive Throttle Pulley
  • Dual Return Spring
  • Adjustable Throttle Stop
  • Throttle Body Mounting Bolts

Note: IAC motor, TPS sensor, and gasket/seal are not included.

GM LS Engine Applications

Designed primarily for GM Gen III/IV LS engines using a compatible 4-bolt intake manifold and cable-operated throttle setup.

GM LT applications

Some applications may be compatible depending on engine and intake configuration. Verify the specific LT engine and intake before ordering rather than assuming universal LT fitment.

Fitment Notes

  • This throttle body is designed for cable-operated applications. Verify your intake manifold uses the compatible 4-bolt throttle body flange before ordering.
  • The throttle body requires the following sensors when needed for your EFI system:
    • Holley 543-34 – IAC Motor

    • Holley 870001 – TPS Sensor

  • The IAC requires (2) 8-32 UNC mounting screws, while the TPS requires (2) M4 x 0.7 screws.
  • LS4 Note: While the throttle body can physically bolt to the flange, the LS4 originally uses a drive-by-wire throttle body. Holley does not provide the bracketry or intake support necessary to convert this throttle body for an LS4 application.

Tech Insight

1. Will this 92mm throttle body fit my LS engine?

It is designed for GM Gen III/IV LS applications using a compatible 4-bolt intake manifold and cable-operated throttle system. Intake manifold flange and throttle linkage compatibility should be verified before ordering.

2. Is a 92mm throttle body good for a modified LS engine?

Yes. The larger 92mm bore increases available airflow compared with smaller throttle bodies and is intended to support performance LS engines with increased airflow requirements. The rest of the intake and engine combination should be sized appropriately to take advantage of the additional airflow.

3. Does this throttle body include the IAC and TPS sensors?

No. The throttle body includes provisions for both sensors, but they are sold separately. Use Holley 543-34 for the IAC motor and Holley 870001 for the TPS sensor.

4. Is this a drive-by-wire throttle body?

No. This is a cable-operated LS throttle body with a progressive throttle pulley and dual return spring. It is a good option for LS swaps and custom vehicles where a mechanical throttle cable is preferred over an electronic drive-by-wire system.

5. What does the progressive throttle pulley do?

The progressive pulley slows throttle opening during the initial portion of pedal movement, giving the driver finer low-speed throttle control. That's especially useful on rock crawlers, trail rigs, and high-horsepower vehicles where precise throttle input matters.
