The 2.0 Emulsion Coilover & Spring Package – 14" Travel combines two Radflo 2.0 emulsion coilovers with two Eibach 2.5" ID coilover springs for rock crawlers, trail buggies, and lightweight custom chassis builds that need increased suspension travel without the added packaging of remote reservoirs. The 14" travel configuration provides additional articulation and wheel movement while the compact 2.0" shock body works well in chassis where space and overall suspension weight matter.

Each coilover uses a single 14" spring, creating a straightforward suspension package with adjustable preload and selectable spring rates from 100–500 lb/in. The emulsion shock design keeps the oil and nitrogen charge within the shock body, eliminating reservoir hoses while retaining rebuildable and tunable damping for technical crawling, trail use, and lightweight off-road vehicles.

Includes:

  • (2) Radflo 2.0 Emulsion Coilover Shocks – 14" Travel
  • (2) Eibach 14" x 2.5" ID Coilover Springs – One Spring Per Shock
  • Coilover Spring Hardware
  • Universal Spherical Bearings
  • Shock Mounting Hardware

Spring rates are selected when ordering from available 100–500 lb/in options.

Availability: Wide Open Design stocks a large selection of Radflo shocks and Eibach springs for immediate shipment. Some spring rates, custom valving configurations, and special-order suspension components may require additional production time.

Fitment

Best Suited For:

  • Rock crawlers
  • Lightweight trail buggies
  • Custom tube chassis vehicles
  • Linked front or rear suspension systems
  • Technical trail builds requiring increased articulation
  • Applications where remote reservoir packaging is unnecessary or limited

Fitment Notes:

  • Universal package for custom front or rear suspension applications
  • Verify 35.43" extended and 21.50" compressed mounting lengths before ordering
  • Spring rate should be selected based on sprung weight, suspension geometry, shock angle, ride height, and intended use
  • Cycle the suspension to verify chassis, tire, axle, link, and spring clearance
  • Proper bump stop placement is required to prevent the coilover from becoming the suspension travel limiter

FAQ

What type of build is a 2.0" x 14" emulsion coilover package best suited for?

The 14" travel package is a good fit for lightweight rock crawlers, trail buggies, and custom chassis that need more articulation and suspension travel while retaining the compact size and simple packaging of a 2.0" emulsion coilover.

Why choose 14" travel instead of a 12" coilover?

The additional travel allows more potential wheel movement and articulation when the suspension geometry and chassis are designed to use it. The tradeoff is a longer shock that requires additional mounting height and clearance at both compression and extension.

Why choose an emulsion shock instead of a remote reservoir coilover?

An emulsion shock eliminates the external reservoir and hose, simplifying installation and reducing packaging requirements. It is well suited to crawling and trail applications where sustained high-speed heat management is less critical.

Is this a dual-rate spring package?

No. This package includes two springs total, with one 14" spring installed on each coilover. It should not be confused with packages containing four springs and a two-spring dual-rate stack on each shock.

How do I select the correct spring rate?

Spring rate selection depends on sprung vehicle weight, weight distribution, suspension geometry, shock angle, desired ride height, and intended use. Learn how to calculate coilover spring rates here.

Are these coilovers rebuildable and revalvable?

Yes. The shocks are fully rebuildable and can be revalved as vehicle weight, suspension setup, or intended use changes.
