The WOD 2.5" x 48" DOM Tube Trailing Arm DIY Kit gives fabricators a strong, lightweight foundation for building custom long-travel rear suspension systems. Designed around a 2.5" O.D. x .250" wall DOM steel tube and reinforced with a precision-machined 7075 aluminum internal insert, this kit delivers exceptional strength while minimizing unnecessary weight for demanding off-road applications.

Engineered for coilover and bypass shock suspensions, the kit includes premium suspension components with a heavy-duty 1.25" shank rod end at the chassis end and a large chromoly bearing at the axle end. Custom high-misalignment spacers maximize suspension articulation while maintaining smooth movement throughout the suspension's travel.

Note: This is a DIY fabrication kit. Components are supplied individually and require welding and final assembly by the builder.

Builder Tip

Before final welding, mock up the complete suspension with the intended shocks, axle, wheels, and tires installed. Cycling the suspension through its full range of motion helps verify pinion angle, shock travel, link clearance, and tire clearance before the trailing arms are permanently assembled.
