The Crane Axle Dana 60 Kingpin Chromoly Inner C is cast and machined from 8620 chromoly steel to provide a stronger, lighter alternative to traditional cast-iron inner knuckles. Manufactured by Crane Axle, it is designed to work with factory and aftermarket Dana 60 kingpin outer knuckles in custom Dana 60 and GM 14-Bolt front steering axle applications.
Additional material is incorporated into high-stress areas while unnecessary weight is removed from lower-load sections. The weld-on design is compatible with MIG and TIG welding processes and is well suited for fabricated axle housings used in rock crawlers, rock bouncers, Ultra4 cars, mud trucks, and other extreme-duty off-road builds.
