The 1350 GM 14-Bolt Forged U-Bolt Yoke is designed for GM 14-Bolt 10.5" axle applications requiring improved driveline strength, serviceability, and long-term durability under heavy load. Built for off-road vehicles, towing applications, rock crawlers, and high-horsepower drivetrain setups, this forged yoke provides a stronger and more reliable connection between the driveshaft and pinion assembly.

Unlike traditional strap-style yokes, the U-bolt retention design simplifies U-joint service by eliminating small retaining bolts that commonly break or seize during heavy use. In off-road environments where driveline maintenance may need to happen quickly on the trail, the ability to replace a U-joint without drilling broken hardware significantly improves serviceability and reduces downtime.

Tech Insight

Pinion yokes are subjected to extreme torsional shock loads during off-road use, especially in vehicles running large tires, low gearing, and high-horsepower drivetrains. Forged yokes provide improved grain structure and resistance to twisting compared to cast alternatives, helping maintain spline integrity under repeated impact loading.

The 37.5-degree spline pressure angle increases spline tooth contact area between the yoke and pinion shaft, improving torque distribution and reducing localized spline wear. Combined with the U-bolt retention design, this setup improves both driveline durability and field serviceability in demanding off-road environments.
