The Radflo 2.5" Off-Road Bypass Shock with Remote Reservoir is built for drivers who need maximum suspension control in demanding off-road environments. Available in 10", 12", 14", 16", and 18" travel lengths, this adjustable 3-tube bypass shock is designed for rock crawlers, Ultra4 cars, rock bouncers, desert trucks, trail rigs, prerunners, and custom tube chassis vehicles.

Unlike traditional shock absorbers, a bypass shock allows damping characteristics to change at different points in the suspension cycle. This creates a smoother ride over small obstacles while providing increased bottom-out resistance and improved vehicle control during aggressive driving. The remote reservoir increases oil capacity and cooling efficiency to maintain consistent performance during long trail rides, high-speed racing, and extreme off-road conditions. Every shock is custom built and uniquely valved to match your vehicle weight, suspension geometry, and intended use.

Includes

  • (1) Radflo 2.5 3-Tube Bypass Shock
  • Remote Reservoir
  • Universal Spherical Bearings & Mounting Hardware

Availability Note: As the #1 stocking warehouse for Radflo Performance Shocks, we maintain one of the largest inventories of Radflo coilovers and springs in the industry. While many popular shock configurations are available for immediate shipment, certain coilovers, custom valving packages, and special-order suspension components may require 4–6 weeks for production and delivery.

Need parts quickly? Call us for current inventory availability and expert help selecting the right coilover shocks, springs, or suspension package for your build.

Tech Insight

1. What is the difference between a 3-tube and 4-tube bypass shock?

A 3-tube bypass shock provides excellent suspension tuning capability with fewer adjustment zones than a 4-tube shock. Many builders find the 3-tube setup offers the perfect balance of performance, adjustability, and ease of tuning.

2. What does a bypass shock do?

A bypass shock allows different damping characteristics throughout the suspension travel. This helps improve ride quality, bottom-out resistance, traction, and overall suspension control.

3. Do I still need coilovers if I run bypass shocks?

Yes. Coilovers support vehicle weight and establish ride height. Bypass shocks work alongside coilovers to improve suspension tuning and control.

4. What vehicles are best suited for a Radflo 2.5 3-Tube Bypass Shock?

These shocks are commonly used on rock crawlers, rock bouncers, Ultra4 cars, prerunners, Jeeps, and custom off-road vehicles that require additional suspension tuning and impact control.

5. Are Radflo 2.5 Bypass Shocks rebuildable?

Yes. Radflo bypass shocks are fully rebuildable and serviceable, allowing owners to maintain peak suspension performance and make tuning adjustments as their vehicle evolves.
