Radflo 2.5 3-Tube External Bypass Shock w/ Remote Reservoir
6BP-302-0R
The Radflo 2.5 3-Tube Bypass Shock with Remote Reservoir provides position-sensitive suspension control for rock crawlers, Ultra4 cars, rock bouncers, desert trucks, prerunners, trail rigs, and custom off-road vehicles. Available in 10", 12", 14", 16", and 18" travel lengths, the three external bypass tubes work with Radflo's velocity-sensitive internal valving to provide greater control throughout different areas of the suspension travel.
The remote reservoir increases oil capacity and helps manage heat during sustained off-road use, while the adjustable bypass circuits allow damping to be tuned for ride quality, chassis control, and bottom-out resistance. Each shock can be custom valved around vehicle weight, suspension geometry, and intended use, making the 2.5 3-Tube Bypass a versatile choice for everything from technical rock crawling to high-speed off-road driving.

Fitment
Universal fitment for custom off-road suspension applications including:
- Rock Crawlers
- Ultra4 Cars
- Rock Bouncers
- Desert Trucks
- Prerunners
- Heavy-Duty Trail Rigs
- Custom Tube Chassis Vehicles
Fitment Notes:
- Available in 10", 12", 14", 16", and 18" travel configurations.
- Fitment is determined by shock travel, mounting dimensions, suspension geometry, and available clearance.
- Allow adequate clearance around the shock body, bypass tubes, reservoir hose, and remote reservoir throughout the complete suspension cycle.
- Proper mounting tabs and bump stop integration are required.
- Final valving should be matched to vehicle weight, suspension geometry, and intended use.
FAQ
What is the difference between a 3-tube and 4-tube bypass shock?
A 3-tube bypass shock provides substantial position-sensitive tuning capability with fewer external circuits than a 4-tube design. For many rock crawling, trail, and off-road applications, the 3-tube configuration provides a strong balance of suspension control, adjustability, packaging, and ease of tuning.
What does a bypass shock do?
A bypass shock uses external fluid circuits to change damping depending on where the shock is positioned in its travel. Combined with velocity-sensitive internal valving, this allows the shock to provide different levels of damping through different portions of the suspension stroke for improved ride quality, chassis control, and bottom-out resistance.
Do I still need coilovers with bypass shocks?
In most custom suspension systems, yes. Coilovers or another spring system support vehicle weight and establish ride height, while bypass shocks provide additional damping and suspension control.
What vehicles are best suited for a Radflo 2.5 3-Tube Bypass Shock?
These shocks are commonly used on rock crawlers, rock bouncers, Ultra4 cars, desert trucks, prerunners, trail rigs, and custom off-road vehicles that need greater suspension tuning and impact control.
Are Radflo 2.5 Bypass Shocks rebuildable?
Yes. Radflo bypass shocks are fully rebuildable and serviceable, allowing the shock to be maintained and revalved as vehicle weight, suspension setup, or intended use changes.
