MT-DMU-RUGGED
The Rugged Radios Multi Mount Radio / Intercom Insert or Standalone Mount provides a radio-specific insert for a compatible Multi Mount system or a standalone custom radio/intercom mounting arrangement. It is useful when a builder wants service access or the ability to change a supported radio model without rebuilding the entire dash mounting structure.
Choose the insert for the actual radio shape; the Rugged, Icom, Kenwood, and Motorola/Vertex choices are separate variants rather than one universal cutout. The intercom compatibility list includes the RRP6100 and the other identified models. Lay out the dash opening, fasteners, and rear wiring clearance around the selected radio and intercom before cutting or drilling the finished panel.
