The Spicer Dana 60 Kingpin Partial Rebuild Kit is designed to service the lower knuckle assembly on kingpin-style Dana 60 front axles. This kit includes the critical wear components needed to restore proper kingpin preload, steering stability, and sealing performance on one side of the axle. It is ideal for routine maintenance, steering repairs, or rebuilding worn kingpin assemblies on heavy-duty trucks and off-road vehicles.
Replacing worn kingpin bearings, races, and seals helps eliminate steering looseness, reduce contamination entry, and improve overall steering response—especially on vehicles running larger tires or subjected to aggressive off-road use.

Fitment Notes:
Kingpin Dana 60 front axles rely on proper preload and bearing condition to maintain steering stability and reduce unwanted movement in the knuckle assembly. Over time, worn bearings and seals can introduce steering play, wandering, and contamination that accelerates wear throughout the axle assembly.
Replacing lower kingpin components restores proper support at the base of the knuckle where the majority of steering load is concentrated. Regular maintenance of kingpin bearings and seals is especially important in lifted trucks and off-road vehicles running oversized tires, where steering forces and side loading are significantly increased.
