The Wide Open Design DIY 1350 / 1410 Slip Driveshaft Builder Kit is a hybrid driveline solution built for off-road rigs that need the strength of a 1410 slip yoke while retaining a 1350 weld yoke on the opposite end. This setup is commonly used when mating different drivetrain components or upgrading part of a driveline without changing everything at once.

As with all WOD driveshaft kits, these are the same components we run in-house on our buggies, proven under real trail abuse and competition conditions. This kit is designed for fabricators who need maximum durability with custom length flexibility.

Tech Insight

Running a 1410 slip yoke provides increased spline engagement and torque capacity in the area that sees the most plunge and load, while the 1350 weld yoke keeps compatibility with existing driveline components. The optional 2.5 x .250 wall DOM tube offers outstanding resistance to denting and bending when dragging over rocks or landing hard under throttle. Specify the DOM tube length you need and cut to final size for your exact application. Perfect for buggy builds and drivetrain swaps where off-the-shelf driveshafts won’t work.
