The Sanderson LT Block Hugger Shorty Headers are the only true block hugger short tube headers on the market designed specifically for LT swap engines. Engineered with 1-5/8″ primary tubes for improved exhaust flow and power, these Sanderson shorty LT headers are designed to hug the block tightly, allowing them to fit into applications where space is extremely limited. Each header features 3/8″ thick flanges, precision ground flat to ensure a secure, leak-free seal. The raw steel finish allows you to customize coating options to match your build.

Optional Upgrade: Professionally TIG welded V-bands available for easier maintenance and a cleaner, leak-free exhaust system.

Tech Insight

1. What makes these LT shorty headers different from other swap headers?
These are the only true block hugger short tube headers designed specifically for LT swap engines. They hug the block tightly to maximize clearance in tight engine bays where standard long tube or generic swap headers often will not fit.

2. Will these headers help performance on my LT swap?
Yes. The 1-5/8" primary tubes are sized to improve exhaust velocity and flow, helping support strong throttle response, usable torque, and efficient power delivery in most street and off-road builds.

3. Why are 3/8" thick flanges important?
Thick 3/8" flanges resist warping under heat cycles and are precision ground flat for a secure, long-term seal. This helps reduce exhaust leaks and improves durability over thinner flange designs.

4. Can these headers be customized or upgraded?
Yes. The raw steel finish is ideal for ceramic coating, paint, or other custom finishes. Professionally TIG welded V-band upgrades are also available for easier serviceability and a cleaner, leak-free exhaust connection.
