The Sanderson GM LS Block Hugger Headers are designed specifically for LS swap applications where steering shafts, frame rails, suspension components, and limited engine bay space make exhaust routing a challenge. Their compact block-hugger design makes them one of the most popular header choices for hot rods, classic trucks, Jeeps, off-road vehicles, and custom chassis running GM LS engines.
Constructed from 16-gauge steel tubing with 1-5/8" primary tubes and 2-1/2" collectors, these headers provide excellent exhaust flow while maintaining an extremely compact profile. Measuring only 7-3/4" from the center of the flange to the bottom of the collector, they offer outstanding ground clearance and installation flexibility in tight chassis.
Sanderson's patented 3/8" gasketless flange design seals directly against the cylinder head, eliminating traditional header gaskets and reducing one of the most common causes of exhaust leaks. For builders wanting an even cleaner exhaust system, professionally TIG-welded V-band collectors are available as an optional upgrade.
