Rod End Misalignment Spacers are designed to properly space a heim joint between suspension or steering mounting tabs while maintaining the rod end's original bore size. Available for 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", and 1" rod ends with multiple spacer widths, these spacers give builders a clean way to match the rod end to the required bracket or tab width.
Unlike high angle spacers that are designed specifically to increase rod end articulation, these standard spacers are primarily used to establish mounting width while providing clearance for normal rod end movement. Each spacer is precision machined from 303 stainless steel for strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability in four-link suspension, steering, and custom off-road fabrication.

General Specifications:
Select the spacer according to the rod end size and required finished mounting width. The spacer bore matches the listed rod end bore and does not step the mounting bolt down to a smaller diameter.

The spacer width and mount width are two different measurements. Spacer width is the width added by each individual spacer, while mount width is the total finished width across the rod end with a spacer installed on both sides. Mount width is the measurement to use when matching a rod end assembly to the inside width of your suspension or steering tabs.
Standard spacers are a good choice when the primary goal is establishing the correct mounting width without changing the rod end's bore size. If the suspension or steering joint needs substantially more angular movement before the rod end binds against the mounting tabs, a high angle or high misalignment spacer may be the better choice.
