Radflo 2.5 Smooth Body Shock w/ Remote Reservoir - 7/8″ Shaft
6SR-001-00
The Radflo 2.5 Smooth Body Shock with Remote Reservoir is designed for off-roaders who need more suspension control, greater damping capacity, and improved durability than a traditional 2.0 shock can provide. Built around a large 2.5” shock body, heavy-duty 7/8” shaft, and remote reservoir, this shock delivers race-proven performance for rock crawlers, rock bouncers, Ultra4 vehicles, prerunners, and high-performance trail rigs.
Unlike coilover shocks that support vehicle weight through a spring mounted directly to the shock body, smooth body shocks are designed strictly for damping control. They are commonly used alongside coilovers, air shocks, torsion bar systems, or other suspension setups where additional control and impact absorption are needed.
The larger 2.5” body increases oil volume and damping capability, allowing the shock to better manage larger tires, heavier vehicles, longer suspension travel, and rougher terrain. Combined with a remote reservoir for additional cooling capacity, this shock maintains consistent performance even during long trail rides, competition use, and repeated hard impacts.

Tech Insight
1. What is the difference between a 2.0 and 2.5 smooth body shock?
A 2.5 shock body holds more oil and provides greater damping control than a 2.0. This makes it better suited for larger tires, heavier vehicles, and more aggressive off-road use.
2. What vehicles are best suited for a Radflo 2.5 Smooth Body Shock?
These shocks are commonly used on rock crawlers, rock bouncers, Ultra4 vehicles, prerunners, Jeeps, and custom off-road builds that require additional suspension control.
3. Do smooth body shocks replace coilovers?
No. Smooth body shocks are often used alongside coilovers or other spring systems to provide additional damping and suspension tuning.
4. What does the remote reservoir do?
The remote reservoir increases oil capacity and cooling performance, helping maintain consistent damping and reduce shock fade during aggressive off-road driving.
5. Are Radflo 2.5 Smooth Body Shocks rebuildable?
Yes. Radflo smooth body shocks are fully rebuildable and serviceable, allowing long-term maintenance and tuning as vehicle needs evolve.
