  • Pump tuning required for higher CC valve combinations
  • Not intended for DOT-legal street use
  • Proper hose routing and system bleeding are critical

Tech Insight

Cylinder bore size directly affects steering force, while orbital valve displacement determines steering speed (turns lock-to-lock). Larger displacement valves reduce steering input effort but require sufficient pump flow and tuning to maintain performance.

Steering Performance

Valve pairing affects steering speed (pump tuning may be required):

  • 120cc Valve: ~3.4 turns lock-to-lock
  • 160cc Valve: ~2.6 turns lock-to-lock (pump tuning required)
  • 185cc Valve: ~2.2 turns lock-to-lock (race-only, pump tuning required)

Turning Force:

  • 1650 PSI: 5,148 lbs of turning force
  • 1800 PSI: 5,654 lbs of turning force
