The WOD Steering Pump Mount Kit is designed to relocate and mount a TC (Type II) steering pump low and tight on an LS engine, right where the factory A/C compressor was previously located. This setup requires removal of the factory A/C compressor and provides a clean, compact solution ideal for off-road builds, swaps, and custom applications.

By positioning the pump low on the block, this mount keeps your engine bay cleaner while maintaining proper belt alignment and accessibility. It’s a simple, proven way to run a TC steering pump on an LS platform without cluttering the front accessory drive.

Built for durability and finished in a durable powder coat, this kit is made in the USA and includes the essential hardware and belt for installation.

Tech Insight

Deleting the factory A/C compressor on LS engines frees up valuable space for steering upgrades. Relocating a TC pump into this position allows better packaging in tight chassis—especially in tube chassis and off-road builds where engine bay clearance is limited.

Proper belt alignment and tension are critical to maintaining pump performance and preventing premature belt wear.
