The RockJock AntiRock Front Sway Bar Kit is a direct bolt-on suspension upgrade for the Jeep TJ Wrangler and LJ Wrangler Unlimited. Designed to replace the factory front sway bar, the AntiRock system improves suspension articulation, traction, and stability on uneven terrain without requiring sway bar disconnects.

Built around a .770" heat-treated 4340 chromoly torsion bar, this kit provides a balanced sway bar rate for TJ and LJ trail builds. Forged chromoly arms deliver strength under hard off-road use, while CNC-machined Delrin frame bushings provide quiet operation and long service life. Adjustable end links allow the system to be matched to your lift height and suspension geometry.

Includes:

  • (1) .770" Heat-Treated 4340 Chromoly AntiRock Torsion Bar
  • TJ/LJ Front Sway Bar Frame Bushings
  • (1) Pair Forged Chromoly Sway Bar Arms
  • (2) Adjustable Sway Bar End Links
  • Sway Bar Arm Hardware Pack
  • RockJock Arm Stickers

Installation Notes:

  • Direct bolt-on installation with no welding required.
  • Included end links are intended for approximately 4" of suspension lift.
  • End link rods may be trimmed or replaced with alternate lengths to suit the vehicle's lift height and suspension geometry.
  • Some vehicles may require the RockJock CE-9901D-SP4 Shim Pack to fine-tune sway bar arm spacing and clearance.
  • Verify shock, spring, steering, tire, and chassis clearance through full suspension travel before final installation.

Driving Characteristics:

  • More body roll than the factory sway bar is normal and allows increased off-road articulation.
  • The vehicle remains street-drivable, but handling will differ from the original sway bar system.

Tech Insight

Why use an AntiRock instead of sway bar disconnects?

The AntiRock remains connected on and off the trail. Its torsion bar allows the front suspension to articulate while transferring controlled load between both sides of the axle, helping reduce chassis unloading and maintain more consistent traction on uneven terrain.

Why is the .770" torsion bar well suited for a TJ or LJ?

The .770" bar provides a balanced rate for the weight and suspension characteristics of TJ and LJ platforms. It offers greater articulation than the factory sway bar while retaining predictable body control for trail driving and street use.

What do the adjustable end links change?

Adjustable end links allow the sway bar arms to be positioned correctly at ride height and help accommodate different lift heights. Correct link length is important for maintaining proper geometry and preventing the arms or links from binding through suspension travel.

Why are Delrin bushings used?

Delrin bushings provide a durable, low-friction pivot surface that supports smooth torsion bar movement while reducing noise and maintenance compared with many conventional rubber bushing designs.

Why might a shim pack be required?

Factory frame dimensions can vary slightly between vehicles. The optional CE-9901D-SP4 Shim Pack allows the sway bar arms to be centered and spaced correctly when additional clearance adjustment is needed.
