The Crane Axle Front Super Duty Unit Bearing Lightweight Brake Kit is engineered for serious off-road performance, precision stopping power, and reduced unsprung weight. Every component in this system is handpicked to deliver reliable braking performance while minimizing rotating mass on your Magnum Knuckle Unit Bearing axle setup.
With larger 13.5" Wilwood vented rotors, forged 4-piston calipers, and Crane’s precision-machined rotor hats, this kit provides a major increase in braking torque, improved pedal feel, and better shock response—allowing your suspension to work more efficiently and keeping the tires planted where they belong.

Fitment Notes:
This kit was engineered to solve two problems found in traditional heavy brake systems: excess unsprung weight and inconsistent braking performance under off-road loads.
The forged Wilwood calipers significantly reduce flex under pressure, giving a firmer pedal feel and stronger clamping force. Paired with 13.5" rotors, the system increases braking torque by running more rotor surface area through the pads at any given wheel speed—meaning more friction with less pedal effort.
The reduced unsprung weight also has a direct effect on suspension performance. Lighter components allow your shocks to control the wheel more effectively, improving traction, reducing chatter, and keeping the vehicle more stable on rough terrain. When combined with Crane’s precision-machined rotor hats and bolt-on brackets, the end result is a brake system that performs better, installs easier, and holds up to long-term abuse.
