The Winters Performance 4095 Shift Linkage Kit gives you the transmission-side parts needed to connect a Winters cable-operated shifter to a GM 700R4 or early non-electronic 4L60 automatic transmission. The linkage arm attaches to the transmission's shift shaft, while the cable bracket holds the shifter cable in the correct position so the shifter can move the transmission through its full gear range.
This is the kit to use when installing a Winters shifter on a 700R4 or 4L60, or when replacing missing or worn transmission-side linkage parts from an existing setup. Using the correct transmission-specific linkage is important because the bracket position and linkage arm determine how the shifter's cable movement translates into movement at the transmission.
