The Wide Open Design GM 14-Bolt Driver Drop Front Axle Truss reinforces driver-side drop 14-Bolt steering axle housings used in high-horsepower off-road and competition builds. Manufactured by Wide Open Design from 1/4" steel plate, the truss is precision cut and contoured around the differential housing to increase weld contact, strengthen the long-side tube area, and reduce housing movement under hard steering, suspension, and drivetrain loads.
Choose a fully welded, made-to-order truss or a flat plate kit for builders who prefer to assemble and weld the structure themselves. Optional suspension and steering tabs can be added to support custom link geometry, shock placement, and hydraulic steering layouts on rock crawlers, rock bouncers, Ultra4 cars, and fabricated tube-chassis vehicles.
