The Rugged Radios Alpha Audio OFFROAD-Wired Helmet Speakers, Mic & Earbud Jack adds speakers, a flexible-boom microphone, and a mono-earbud connection to a compatible helmet. It is useful for putting an unwired helmet into an OFFROAD communication system, allowing the driver to hear the crew and speak through the intercom while keeping the microphone positioned inside the helmet.
Alpha Audio speakers handle the listening side, while the dynamic noise-canceling microphone and flexible boom allow the mic to be positioned for the helmet and wearer. The Dura-Link Seal protects the cable connection from dirt and moisture. Use the supplied speaker mounting material and a suitable mic/junction mounting method; the intercom lead is separate, and PCI TRAX stereo compatibility is specifically excluded.
