ARBRD81
The ARB Air Locker Differential is designed to fit 31-spline Ford 8.8" rear axle assemblies across all gear ratios, and allows drivers to move slower, safer, and with greater control, reducing drivetrain shock, vehicle damage, and environmental impact.
Using a pneumatically operated locking system, the Air Locker fully locks the differential when engaged, preventing internal gears from rotating independently. This forces both axle shafts to turn together, ensuring maximum traction in rocks, mud, snow, and steep terrain. When disengaged, it operates as a conventional open differential, providing smooth handling and predictable road manners.
Kit Includes:
Note: Air compressor required for operation (sold separately).

ARB’s patented timed locking mechanism allows for ultra-fast disengagement under load, reducing driveline stress while maintaining exceptional strength. The two-piece carrier design minimizes internal moving parts for maximum reliability, while the steel-reinforced, elastomer-bonded annular seal is engineered to perform in extreme temperatures and harsh environments.
Selectable control means traction only when you need it—no compromise on the street, maximum confidence off-road.
