ARBRD197
The ARB AAM 9.25”/ GM 9.50” Air Locker is designed for applications running numerically lower gear ratios and mixed use vehicles that see both street and off-road duty. With the flick of a dash mounted switch, compressed air activates the pneumatically operated locking mechanism inside the differential, instantly locking both axle shafts to the ring gear. When disengaged, the differential operates like a conventional open unit, reducing driveline wear and preserving normal handling characteristics.

ARB’s patented timed locking mechanism supports the side gear teeth directly, allowing the Air Locker to handle high torque loads exactly when needed. The steel reinforced, elastomer bonded annular seal is designed to withstand extreme temperatures and repeated engagement cycles, ensuring long term reliability in both daily driven and off-road applications.
The high speed configuration is ideal for vehicles that require selectable traction without sacrificing street manners.
