Holley EFI Idle Air Control (IAC) Motor for LS Throttle Bodies
543-34
The Holley EFI Idle Air Control (IAC) Motor is a direct replacement service component for Holley and Sniper EFI cable-driven LS throttle bodies. Designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications, this replacement motor restores proper idle speed control, cold-start performance, and throttle response when replacing a worn or failed idle air control valve.
Compatible with Holley 90mm, 95mm, and 105mm throttle bodies as well as Sniper EFI 85mm, 90mm, 92mm, and 102mm throttle bodies, the Holley 543-34 IAC motor installs directly onto the throttle body without modification. It also serves as a direct replacement for GM OE part number 17113598, making it an excellent choice for LS engine swaps, custom EFI builds, and routine maintenance.
Includes:
- (1) Holley EFI Idle Air Control (IAC) Motor

Tech Insight
What does an Idle Air Control (IAC) motor do?
The IAC motor regulates airflow around the throttle blade when your foot is off the accelerator. This allows the ECU to maintain a stable idle during cold starts, when the air conditioning cycles on, or whenever engine load changes.
What are the symptoms of a bad IAC motor?
A failing IAC motor can cause rough idle, stalling, fluctuating idle speed, difficult cold starts, or an engine that idles too high or too low.
Is this a direct replacement?
Yes. The Holley 543-34 is designed as a direct replacement for compatible Holley and Sniper EFI throttle bodies and also replaces GM OE part number 17113598.
Does this fit drive-by-wire throttle bodies?
No. This IAC motor is only used on cable-operated throttle bodies equipped with an Idle Air Control valve. Electronic drive-by-wire throttle bodies do not utilize a separate IAC motor.
