A failing IAC motor can contribute to rough or inconsistent idle quality by preventing the EFI system from properly controlling bypass air at closed throttle. This replacement includes the required seal and is sold individually for servicing an existing Holley EFI installation.
Includes:
- (1) Holley EFI Idle Air Control (IAC) Motor
- Gasket / Seal
Important: This IAC motor does not fit Sniper 2 EFI systems. Holley specifies MSD P/N 2937 for Sniper 2 applications.

Tech Insight
1. What does an IAC motor do?
The Idle Air Control motor allows the EFI system to regulate the amount of air bypassing the throttle blades at idle. This helps the ECU maintain the commanded idle speed as engine load and operating conditions change.
2. What are common signs of a failing IAC motor?
A faulty IAC can contribute to rough or inconsistent idle operation. Because other EFI setup or engine issues can cause similar symptoms, the IAC should be properly diagnosed before replacement.
3. Does this fit Generation 1 Holley Sniper EFI?
Yes. Holley lists P/N 543-105 as a replacement IAC motor for Generation 1 Sniper EFI TBI systems.
4. Will this IAC motor work with Sniper 2?
No. Holley 543-105 does not fit Sniper 2. Holley specifies MSD P/N 2937 for Sniper 2 applications.
5. Does the replacement IAC include the seal and mounting hardware?
The gasket / seal is included, but mounting hardware is not included.
