The Holley Sniper EFI 102mm LS Throttle Body – Silver is built for performance GM LS and compatible LT applications that need increased airflow while retaining a cable-operated throttle setup. Manufactured by Holley Sniper EFI, the billet aluminum 102mm bore provides additional airflow capacity for higher-horsepower combinations, while the bright silver finish gives builders an alternative to the black anodized version.

A progressive throttle pulley helps keep low-speed throttle response controlled despite the large 102mm opening, while the dual return spring provides a positive pedal feel. The throttle body also includes GM-style IAC and TPS provisions, an adjustable throttle stop, and a 4-bolt mounting pattern for compatible performance intake manifolds.

1. What is the difference between this throttle body and Holley P/N 860005-1?

The primary difference is the finish. P/N 860002-1 uses a silver billet aluminum finish, while 860005-1 is the black version. Both use a 102mm bore and cable-operated throttle design.

2. When is a 102mm throttle body a good choice?

A 102mm throttle body is best suited to performance engines that have enough airflow demand to benefit from the larger opening, such as combinations using upgraded heads, camshafts, intake manifolds, increased displacement, or other airflow modifications.

3. What does the progressive throttle pulley do?

The progressive pulley slows the initial throttle blade opening, helping provide finer pedal control at low throttle positions while still allowing the blade to reach full opening when needed.

4. Are the IAC motor and TPS sensor included?

No. Use Holley P/N 543-34 for the IAC motor and Holley P/N 870001 for the TPS sensor. Both are sold separately.

5. Will a larger throttle body automatically make more horsepower?

No. A larger bore increases available airflow, but the rest of the engine must be able to use it. If the existing throttle body is not a restriction, simply installing a larger one may provide little or no performance gain.
