The Holley Sniper EFI 92mm LS Throttle Body – Silver is a cable-operated performance throttle body for GM LS and compatible LT applications that need improved airflow without stepping up to a larger 102mm bore. Manufactured by Holley Sniper EFI, the billet aluminum 92mm design is a strong fit for naturally aspirated LS swaps, street performance builds, off-road rigs, and other combinations where drivability and airflow both matter.

The progressive throttle pulley helps keep low-speed pedal response controlled, while the dual return spring provides a positive throttle feel. The silver billet body also includes GM-style IAC and TPS provisions, an adjustable throttle stop, and a 4-bolt mounting pattern for compatible Sniper EFI and performance intake manifolds.

Includes:

  • (1) Holley Sniper EFI 92mm Throttle Body
  • Progressive Throttle Pulley
  • Dual Return Spring
  • Adjustable Throttle Stop
  • 4-Bolt Throttle Body Mounting Hardware

Note: IAC motor, TPS sensor, and gasket are not included.

Fitment Notes

  • This is a cable-operated 92mm throttle body; verify the vehicle is configured for mechanical throttle operation.
  • Verify that the intake manifold uses a compatible 4-bolt throttle body flange.
  • Engine displacement alone does not guarantee fitment.
  • Holley P/N 543-34 is required when an IAC motor is needed.
  • Holley P/N 870001 is required when a TPS sensor is needed.
  • IAC mounting requires (2) 8-32 UNC screws.
  • TPS mounting requires (2) M4 x 0.7 screws.
  • Throttle body gasket is sold separately.

Tech Insight

1. When should I choose a 92mm throttle body instead of a 102mm?

A 92mm throttle body is often a better match for naturally aspirated and moderate-horsepower LS combinations that do not require the extra airflow capacity of a 102mm bore. It provides strong airflow without unnecessarily oversizing the throttle opening.

2. Is a 92mm throttle body good for an LS swap?

Yes. A 92mm cable-operated throttle body is a common choice for LS swaps using compatible performance intake manifolds, especially when simple mechanical throttle control and good low-speed response are priorities.

3. What does the progressive throttle pulley do?

The progressive pulley slows the initial throttle blade opening, providing finer control at low pedal positions while still allowing full throttle. This can be especially useful in trail rigs, rock crawlers, and other applications where throttle modulation matters.

4. Are the IAC motor and TPS sensor included?

No. Use Holley P/N 543-34 for the IAC motor and Holley P/N 870001 for the TPS sensor. Both are sold separately.

5. Will a 92mm throttle body increase horsepower?

It can help when the existing throttle body is restricting airflow, but the engine must have enough airflow demand to benefit. Intake manifold size, cylinder heads, camshaft, displacement, and RPM range all affect whether a larger throttle body will provide a measurable gain.
