Tech Insight

The shock shaft is a critical structural component that must withstand extreme compression loads, side loading, and repeated high-speed cycling. Nitro Steel provides superior tensile strength and durability compared to standard steel shafts, while the mirror-polished surface ensures proper sealing and long service life.

Replacing a damaged shaft restores correct sealing surface integrity, prevents oil leakage, and maintains consistent damping performance. Because Radflo shocks are fully rebuildable, replacing the shaft is a cost-effective way to return your suspension to race-ready condition.
