BB1-P
The Sanderson BBC Header is engineered for tight chassis applications running a Big Block Chevrolet 396–454 or 502 engine. Designed as one of the tightest fitting block hugger headers available, the BB1 sits 2″ tighter to the block than traditional designs and hangs down less than 11″ from the exhaust port centerline, dramatically improving ground clearance in hot rods, swaps, and custom builds.
Built from 16-gauge tubing with a 3/8″ thick patented flange, these headers seal without traditional gaskets which reduces leaks and simplifying installation.
Optional upgrade: Professionally TIG welded V-Bands available for increased durability and ease of installation.

Fits most applications running:
Designed for early Chevy and Ford chassis swaps where tight steering, frame rail, and ground clearance are critical.
Note: Designed for frames without a crossmember beneath the center of the engine block.
If you’re building a tight street rod, swap project, or custom chassis where steering shafts, frame rails, or ground clearance are an issue, the BB1 solves those problems without sacrificing performance.
The block-hugging design improves clearance around steering and suspension components.
The patented flange design eliminates the need for gaskets, reducing failure points.
The 1-7/8″ primaries and 3″ collector provide excellent flow for strong torque and horsepower from mild 396 builds to aggressive 502 combinations.
