The RCV Performance Ultimate Dana 44 CV Axles for the Jeep JL and JT Rubicon platform deliver unmatched strength, smoothness, and steering performance. These axles replace the OEM U-joint shafts with a high-strength constant velocity design that eliminates oscillation, crow-hop, and torque spikes caused by uneven U-joint power delivery.
RCV CVs maintain 100% strength at any steering angle up to 45°, thanks to six fully-engaged points of contact in every phase of rotation—something no U-joint can match. The CV is 18% larger than previous Dana 44 designs and utilizes RCV’s proven Dana 60-class architecture, offering twice the strength of OEM shafts while keeping the lighter weight and ground clearance advantages of a Dana 44.
This one piece FAD friendly design eliminates the factory disconnect coupler but retains full FAD module functionality. This means no warning lights and no reprogramming.
