Tech Insight

Inline fuel pumps must be mounted securely to prevent:

  • Excess vibration
  • Noise transfer into chassis
  • Premature pump wear
  • Fuel line stress

The foam sleeve acts as a sound isolator and vibration dampener, while the steel clamps provide a rigid mounting solution.

For best results:

  • Mount the pump below the fuel cell outlet when possible
  • Keep pump close to tank to prevent cavitation
  • Use a 100-micron pre-filter before the pump
  • Ensure solid electrical grounding

Proper mounting directly affects pump longevity and system reliability — especially in off-road environments where vibration is constant.
