Using the Space GM Already Gave You
One of the smartest design aspects of this mount is how it uses the rear crank pulley grooves originally intended for the factory A/C compressor. Instead of trying to:
- stack accessories higher
- crowd the front accessory drive
- interfere with radiator clearance
- create suspension interference
the WOD mount takes advantage of unused space already built into the LS platform. By relocating the TC pump into the factory A/C position, the pump sits:
- lower on the engine
- tighter against the block
- cleaner in the chassis
- farther away from suspension interference
Simple Belt System = Reliable Belt System

the WOD mount uses a straightforward standalone 4-rib belt setup. Adjustment works similarly to an old-school V-belt system:
