Wide Open Design’s 1/2"-20 Chromoly Rod Ends are built for strength, durability, and smooth operation in demanding suspension and chassis applications. These heavy duty rod ends are commonly used on four-link and ladder bar setups, where reliability under load matters most.

Designed for performance use, these rod ends feature a self-sealing, self-lubricating Nylon/PTFE race that keeps dirt and debris out while delivering smooth articulation and long service life with no constant greasing required.

Built from heat treated chromoly steel with a hardened, precision ground ball, these rod ends are made to handle real world abuse on and off the trail.

Tech Insight

These chromoly rod ends are designed with metal-to-metal support, allowing them to handle heavy shock loads without compromising strength. The increased cross sectional thickness improves tensile strength, making them a reliable choice for suspension links, ladder bars, and steering components where durability is critical.

The sealed Nylon/PTFE race dramatically reduces wear and maintenance compared to traditional metal-on-metal rod ends, making these ideal for trail rigs and performance builds alike.
