The Wide Open Design Single Ended Carrier Bearing gives builders a way to route a front or intermediate driveshaft around chassis tubes, suspension links, exhaust, starters, and other packaging obstacles in custom off-road builds. By creating a fixed support point in the driveline, the carrier bearing allows the driveshaft to be split into multiple sections instead of forcing one shaft through a crowded chassis.
Built around a 1.5" 10-spline shaft, the assembly uses double-sealed roller bearings inside a heavy-wall DOM housing and can be configured with 1350, 1410, or 1480 Spicer U-bolt yokes. It is designed for fabricated driveline systems in rock crawlers, rock bouncers, tube chassis buggies, and other applications where driveline angle and packaging require more flexibility than a conventional one-piece shaft.
