The Spicer 1480 Universal Joint & U-Bolt Kit is designed for extreme-duty driveline systems where maximum strength, reliability, and durability are required. Featuring heavy-duty non-greaseable 1480 series universal joints and matching Spicer U-bolt retention hardware, this kit is commonly used in rock bouncers, Ultra4 race cars, competition crawlers, mega trucks, mud racing vehicles, and high-horsepower off-road builds. The larger 1.375" bearing caps and wide 1480 cross design provide significantly greater load capacity than smaller driveline series.

The solid cross, non-greaseable design eliminates internal grease passages to maximize cross-sectional strength, making it the preferred configuration for competition and severe-duty applications.
